PortalNotifications provides a simple way to send emails when content objects are submitted, retracted, published, etc. You can select an email or emails to be sent when various workflow transitions occur. PortalNotifications requires PortalMail. TO DO: PortalNotifications replaces content_status_modify, which is a bit crude. A better method would be to override the workflow tool's change status method.
